It was a bad power brick from the factory, I don't have access to proper electrical test equipment at the time so I didn't have a way to put a current draw on the brick and could only verify voltage. I wish I had a Playstation to hook it to, I have no way to rule out a hardware issue. One question I have that I can't find an answer to is that if the computer isn't getting encoder feedback will it attempt a calibration? It tries, moves a few degrees, lights up the rpm leds and blinks the ps4 light. One thing I noticed is that my avast keeps saying that there is a crucial jump drive hooked to my computer that does not exist. I spent 10 hours across 3 pcs trying to get it to work, oldest supported software and drivers to the newest, with no diffrent outcome. I've got the same problem as OP, all connections are good, I checked the power brick with a meter, it's got 24vdc. The settings from former changes should be kept anyway. Simply open the wheel settings and click on OK. If you don't, your wheel settings may not work in any game and you will be stuck with a low turning degree and different centering spring strength. IMPORTANT: Everytime your wheel calibrates (when connecting it to the pc or, if already connected, when starting up the OS) you may have to repeat step 3 in order to initialize your settings again before starting any game.

  • Open the control settings, adjust the scheme to your liking and make sure to save the changes.
  • In the wheel settings you can change (from top to bottom) the turning sensitivity (I suggest you keep it at 50%), the turning degrees (I suggest no more than 375° for F1 2017), activate or deactivate the centering spring (I have it enabled, personal preference) and the amount of its strength (22% for me, personal preferenc).
  • When the calibration is done open the "Logitech Gaming Software" window, select your wheel in the device list, click on any glowing button and double click on "Wheel" which is positioned at the top of the steering wheel picture.
  • Once the software is installed, start it up, go through the initial startup settings, connect the wheel again and let it calibrate.

Make sure your wheel is disconnected from your PC before doing that.

  • Download the latest version of the "Logitech Gaming Software" from the Logitech website and install it.
